Terms and Conditions

Spotlites Theatre is pleased to present our members with the option to pay for membership on a monthly basis. To calculate costs we have looked at the amount of sessions we hold typically in a year averaging 45 sessions, and split this into a set cost for each month through out the year. This can mean that in one month you have more sessions than what your payment covers, but then also takes into account the days sessions are unavailable. Due to the sessions we offer throughout the week however, members can attend on a different session day, should they be unable to attend their session, or their session day is closed. Dates of sessions are released on a termly basis, which are then emailed out to our members, as well as will be available on our website, so they can be made aware of what days sessions are on.
Transaction fees

Our monthly fee does take into account transaction fees through a third party, which is needed in order to provide a subscription service.
Cancellation

You are able to cancel your membership at anytime. To do so you would need to provide us with written notice via email to takepart@spotlites.co.uk. Please note we require one months notice in order to process cancellation requests, with the notice taking place on the closest payment date to the date the request had been submitted. For example:

If you submit a cancellation request on 20th of the month, and your payments come out on the 1st of each month, your notice will take place within the next billing cycle. However if you submit your request on 10th of the month, your closest billing date would be for the current billing cycle, and therefore your notice will take place from that date.

Although you may have the intention to stop attending sessions when you submit your cancellation, you are more than welcome to still attend sessions within your notice period should you wish. 

  1. Refunds

    If you submit your cancellation request in the middle of a billing cycle you will not be eligible for refund of any prior payments made. If you submit your cancellation request in the middle of a billing cycle, you will still be charged for the next billing cycle should your payment date fall within your months notice, this would be your last payment and is non-refundable.

Attendance
Attendance to sessions is up to our members. Should they be unable to attend sessions for any reason, they may attend a different session day. Spotlites Theatre Company only offer memberships, so please note if you make the choice to not attend a session, you will not be eligible for a refund. In the instance that your session day has had to be cancelled, as long as Spotlites Theatre Company provide an alternative session, or replace the session that had been cancelled, you will not be eligible for a refund.

Spotlites Theatre Company

Spotlites Theatre Company reserves the right to deny membership. If a member has breached the terms and conditions, or their actions have gone against Spotlites rules (decided at the discretion of the Company Directors and session leaders), Spotlites Theatre Company reserves the right to cancel membership effective immediately with no refund issued for prior payments. Spotlites Theatre Company reserves the right to update prices according to demand of the current climate such as inflation, in which case members will receive one months notice in writing. We reserve the right to amend dates where necessary, providing members with at least 24 hours written notice.
Payments
Should members default on their payments at the discretion of Spotlites Theatre Company, they can decide on requesting the outstanding balance for the term to be paid in full , for the amount due that billing cycle to be paid with a 10% late fee charge applied, with normal payment continuing on the next billing cycle thereafter or to cancel membership. If there is a query on payments, or request to change payment information queries are to be sent to takepart@spotlites.co.uk in you will provided with what options are available to you. 

New members must sign up for their monthly subscription by the date provided in their Spotlites 'Welcome' email sent to them after their trial period.

Existing members who wish to sign up for a monthly subscription will need to submit their request to do so to Spotlites Theatre Company, and do so by the date provided in response. This is to avoid an overlap in fees and ensure your are signed up for when you attend sessions.

Members can be refused a session if payment has not yet been made. Payments are arranged to be taken in advance each month.

Agreement

By continuing on with a monthly membership you are hereby agreeing to Spotlites Theatre Company’s rules and the above terms and conditions. 

You understand that monthly membership is continuous with no end date, and must submit a cancellation request meeting the above terms and conditions on Spotlites Theatre Company's cancellation policy if you wish to terminate your membership at any point.
You are agreeing to committing to paying a set price each month dependant on the package you select.

You are agreeing to information about your subscription to held by third party company Paypal, and for your information to be used by Spotlites Theatre Company in order to:

  1. contact you regarding your membership

  2. To amend your subscription for reasons stated in above paragraphs ‘Payments’ and ‘Spotlites Theatre Company”
